As an example of our work with efficiency management, TIG has been focusing on the returns component of the publishing business, that is, the cost to the company for the difference between gross and net sales.
Our preliminary findings indicates that savings in the order of 50% in time spent on the process, and 15% of the cost of processing returns are achievable.
These figures, when translated into present values represent the difference between profit and loss for some of our clients.
